Linda's Bar and Grill
A Franklin Street mainstay and downbar that needed some help refining menus and making some designs
ABOUT THE RESTAURANT
Linda's Bar and Grill in Chapel Hill has been a cozy neighborhood spot since 1976 where locals and college students alike gather for hearty comfort food and drinks. With its warm atmosphere and friendly staff, it's the perfect place to unwind after a long day or catch up with friends over a delicious meal. From their famous burgers to tasty cocktails, Linda's offers something for everyone to enjoy.
Linda's struggled to cope with the financial pressures put on tons of small businesses throughout the pandemic. In order to keep its doors open, management at Linda's knew that a change was necessary. They decided to revamp the menu and gear its mission further towards social events and lunch, catering to the UNC community.
THE PROJECTS
In order to carry out this menu revamp for Linda's Bar and Grill, we wanted to marry the classic pub vibe that UNC students have come to know and love over the past 45 years with the modern, post-COVID world that Linda's was now faced with. Some price and menu changes were also necessary.
The staff at Linda's also wanted flexibility in case of new price changes with the new menu. To account for this, we provided an editable file to the management team where they would be able to change the small details of menu items. It connected to the QR code pictured on the table tent below.
